I was just wondering. Are there any Different hand positions on the keys rather than the standard three fingers? (index, middle, and ring). If so, could I see a picture of some, and which is the most effective?

Re: Hand Positions.
Please search the forums before you make a thread like this. There are already so many...
But to answer your question: yes, there are many different hand positions and people get really good at most of them. I personally use the arrow keys with left middle on left, left pointer on down, right middle on right and right pointer on up.

Re: Hand Positions.
That really isn't standard. Here are the general ones:
Index : index fingers, 2 hands
Spread : Both index and both middle fingers, covering all 4 keys
The kind you are mentioning.
and yes, please use the search feature next time.Comment

Re: Hand Positions.
Three fingers is much of a standard anymore. A lot of people eventually convert to spread.
sdkl ftw
I played with a spatula once. Too many boos, though. : OComment

Re: Hand Positions.
I play right middle finger on right, right pointer finger on up, right thumb on down, left pointer on down.
