    Instantly Addicted Newbie

    Hey guys, I've been playing FFR for a couple of weeks now and I thought I'd whack a post on the forums After watching many DDR/SM videos on YouTube I convinced myself to learn how to play, and FFR seemed the easiest way to get into it I have a rather unorthodox finger setup (which was quite hard initally, but I practised enough to make it work) - left middle finger on left, left index on down, right index on up and right middle on right. Anyone else use this setup?

    Haven't achieved anything super-fantasic yet, mostly FCs on difficulty 1-3 songs and a couple of difficulty 4 songs. Just looking on some advice on attempting more FCs... when I set auto-fail on the same song over and over I got mildly insane, anyone have any routine in getting FCs (even AAAs further down the track)?

    Enough rambling. Great community and website you guys got here. Glad to be a part of it

      Welcome. Read the stickies and stay out of trouble.
      Also, your key combo isn't that weird, I used to play like that sometimes. To FC and AAA more, really all you can do is practice, and screen cutting helps for some people.

                          personally I use the left middle on left, left index on down, right index on number pad 8, right middle on number pad 6-- much more room for your fingers.

                              Welcome.

                              I second what everyone else has said.

                              And yeah, we have a pretty cool community for the most part, unless you act like a complete idiot or something and consistently post with bad grammar and typing.

                              But you don't seem to have that problem. :]

                                  there are no weird key combos on ffr...its so magical that anything is possible!

                                      Cheers for the friendly welcomes guys. Got my first 2 AAA's yesterday! Granted it was only Trip to the Moon and Falling Into You but it's a start. Nice to see I picked a rather popular key combination, haha.
