Cyber Hate Crimes?

I know I am new to this site and everything. But I was just wondering how everyone feels for:
A) Peoples Sexual Orientation and if this is a LBGT Safe Area.
B) Cyber Hate Crimes and how do people react to online abuse?

A. Straight, and I assume LBGT = Lesbian, Bi, Gay, Tranny? If so then sure as long as the transsexuals don't go parading around about how they had their dicks chopped off.

B. Statement. Thanks. I get extremely hurt when people abuse me online. I take everything personal, and sometimes I even cut myself to relieve the emotional pain online abuse gives me.

Ok i am wondering this. because if you look at my comment wall just read those comments. How well does FFR Admin tolerate this before some for of hate crime suit arises?

Most people on the site are kind and understanding. Although you get your few who will flame you relentlessly until forcefully stopped. LBGT Safeish. Mods will not stand for that type of flaming and will ban all who do so.

Online abuse isn't a huge deal here unless you venture into TGB (The Garbage Bin) and still there it isn't terrible. You should feel safe and at home here.

In my opinion I don't feel that you need to tell us all that you LBGT. That IMO is just asking to get flamed. If you do so feel the need to share that with us expect the consequences.

EDIT: Silver Surfer is quite agressive there. I would suggest the report button. I am also assuming you said something or other to get that attention which should also be addressed by the Mods.

Just wondering because I have been seeing one person flaming everyone relentlessly. I am not saying I am or not. But I was just wondering if the mods and admins will act upon this or how should we report this.

Oh. I see, well usually spamming isn't considered a "hate crime". That title is usually left to things like race-based crimes and hazing. But maybe an admin will try and do something about the spammer, but there really isn't much that can be done.

Umm I don't think TGB would flame anyone for being gay or transsexual.

Well in Hawaii Hate Crime can also be based off of Sexual Orientation and making comments such as fags and I will kill you *** turns this matter into a hate crime

Must be different there than in Wisconsin. Here only hate crimes are black/white. I don't understand why he is behaving this way so quickly he joined very recently, like todayish. Hopefully a Mod will see this and end it.

There is a difference between someone killing someone because they are gay and someone you don't even know posting a threat on your wall. Hardly a crime.

Well this guy came from another username that he got rid off because everyone started flaming over the same reason. And if he didnt delete the other comments on his wall I think this would be much more clear.

I'm bi, and I get called a *** all day every day, and I realllllly don't care. If you do then you need to become comfortable with yourself. Cause if you're a guy and you like guys then you're a ***.. That's just the way it is lol. Just so you know, from what I've seen, flamers are actually praised if they get a huge reaction out of who they're flaming.

I find this thread a useless waste of time. if you're wondering about a subject matter which may violate a rule, and would be subjectable to punishment, then take it up with a mod. And I don't think crime is the right word because hating someone online or not isn't a crime, harrasment well yeah. And the title doesn't really relate to the topic of stereotyping and harrasment as it seems is your basis for this thread...but yeah I don't care...
