    The Search Button

Well I've been seeing many threads asking about things that have already been answered, so here's how to figure out whether your question has already been asked or solved.

If you look above where it says Newbie Forum and then says a description, you should see nine buttons: User CP, Register, FAQ, etc. One of them being the Search button. When you click on the search button a little box will show up. Type in your question or part of the question and hit "Go". By clicking Show Threads you will see all the threads people have made with words from your sentence. If you click Show Posts, you will see posts people have made with the words from your sentence. For example if you wanted to know how to add songs onto StepMania, you can type "Add StepMania Songs" into the search box, click Show Threads, and press Go. You should come up with the picture below. As you can see if you scroll down you will find a thread perfect for your question which I circled in red. So before you make a thread, please use the search button. Thank you .

    Re: The Search Button

Usually the search button is useless. Most of the results are irrelevant to your questions/search so I just don't use it unless it was a very unique post/thread title.

I support using the Edit Button. You should too.
