problem with installing songs to stepmania

ok i started my own folder and everything but when i try and put it in the folder this program called winace always pops up and puts it in there and i have no clue what it does, and what it does with the file.

any help?

hmmm, well in the foler there can only be song folders

like you cant have them go

stepmania>mysongs>songlist1>songs here

it wouls have to be

stepmania>songlist1>songs here


know what im saying?

umm i dont really understand.

could you run me through the steps of finding a site that has songs

and how to actually put it into the folder?

im still confused. =/

All you should be doing is downloading the song, then it should come in a folder of its own with the bg, banner, mp3 and stepcharts. Then you go into the SM program folder, go into songs, and paste the folder.

ok lets see, a good site is ddr UK

you have to register and then download but all the packs have about 20-30 songs

okay i finally figured it out. woot thanks for the help

but one last thing,could any one give me some sites for ddr extreme songs?

or how would i find them, because that is my favorite mix

http://www.ddruk.com has that mix and a ton of others. Hope it helps

Also try http://www.ddrplace.com for different songs.
