I love the kind of rolls you can get with Pizza from Bertucchi's. They come warm, and I just love eating them butterless when they're warm.

Also, extra rough cornstarch on the bottom is very good.

And butter. Especially when you cut a roll in half, stick it in the toaster, and put the butter on as fast as you can. Then the butter melts, and it takes so delicious.

Yeah, when you bake cinnamon into a bread, English muffin, roll, or anything, it automatically rises to the top of the breads chain. Because cinnamon is king of sweet spices.

It all depends on the context:

FFR: A roll is defined as a rolling pattern between all 4 arrows (stlunatic0124). Usually, it's right-up-down-left, right-down-up-left, and things of that nature. An essential part to FFR stepfiles.


ITG: A roll is defined as 2 notes in which one must "hold" by repeatedly tapping on both steps; if the tapping stops, the arrow dies. Either put together as a jump or spaced a 16th note apart. Tapping at a 16th note speed is enough to keep the arrows alive. Present in many Hard difficulty songs on ITG2 and a few Expert's as well.

Ok to end this spam fest, here is the ITGFreak.com definition.

Roll: One or more arrows that have to be hit at least once every 0.3 seconds. Judged the same as Holds.

But those rolls do still look good hoochan.

1. Why you guys are bringing up ITG stuff here is beyond me. This is, in case you haven't noticed, an FFR newbie forum, meaning that the person is obviously asking about what a roll means in FFR (in case there's any doubt, any pattern of 4 different arrows that is repeated VERY quickly, usually at about twice the speed of the rest of the song, is considered a roll in FFR). Bringing up the ITG freeze-like roll is like responding with "A roll is a technique used in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time in order to easily defeat the final boss" or something. It's completely unrelated and only serves to confuse the OP.

2. This isn't chit-chat or TGB, which are the only two places where this whole butter-roll tangent would be appropriate. The question was answered, and the thread should end there.
