    Tips I have learned

Hi! I'm new in the game, very new actually. I am still playing lots of standard levels on FFR and I have recently noticed that I can complete many of the difficult and a few very difficult levels. While this may not mean anything, I was barely able to complete standards about a week ago. These are the tips I have learned in the past few weeks that I have been focusing on:

1 - Do not play 1-handed. I switched to indexing and have noticed a significant improvement.

2- Practice for a day with the window scrolled down as to improve your eye-finger coordination speed. You will only see the arrows a split second before you need to press them, but it will improve your reaction time.

3 - Download stepmania from http://www.stepmania.com and a few of the packages and songs you can find from off of the internet. I personally like the packages on their site and the community keyboard mega packs. Stepmania will enable you to play the songs on varying difficulties and is actually a lot of fun.

Those are the 3 major tips I have for improving your FFR ability. A few minor tweaks I have made for me personally are changes the arrows so they scroll down (available also with stepmania), tapping my foot with the beat for some of the slower songs, and increasing the scroll speed to 2x on stepmania because the slowness of the arrows throws me off occasionally.

I guess thats about it for me, I am still improving and am still a n00b to FFR and every other "revolution" series. If there are any other tips I haven't mentioned that will seriously improve my playing ability I would like to know.

Instead of taking her out to a movie and buying her popcorn, bend her over the arm of a couch. It's very economical. Just make sure you are using the proper protection, because then it can become VERY, VERY GOD DAMN UNECONOMICAL if she pops a baby 9 months down the road.
