...and don't limit yourself to just a few songs, play as many different as possible

Try playing songs that are harder than what you normally do, because eventually you adjust to reading them, and then go back to the easier ones and they will feel much simpler.

Also screencut, and play spread.

Actually, play songs that you have a hard time with, but can still read and pass fairly easily. You will get better more quickly that way. Also, screencut.

Just go through the queue and find the songs that you like and the songs that you want to avoid. I know, it's a lot of trial and error, but it's the only logical method we know of.
