disabling system beeps

hi im having this annoying little problem which im sure alot of people must have...
whenever i hit 3 buttons or more at the same time while playing ffr my computer beeps and lags for a split second then i lose my combo or even fail the song.

is there any way to disable this beep?

Chill. This isn't a chat room, nor is it a hugely populated forum. Threads don't die in ten seconds.

Doubleposting (or quintuple posting in your case) is against the rules. Do it again and you receive a ban. Read the rules.

Turn off numlock. That's the problem most of the time.
