I know this sounds a little whiney and i know someone is going to yell at me for posting but; Im new and i dont know really anyone here, so i was hopeing people could give me an introduction to the community.... so to speak

Your first post was in the Newbie forum, so I won't link there, but it's a decent way to get started anywhere.

Just post more and you'll find friends. Or cruise the FFR profiles of people. That is, just jump right in.

On second thought, I'll just move this to the Newbie forum.

Essentially its all a matter of getting known and participating. Hit the vid chat / ffr multiplayer / profile chat and forums, and if you stuck with it, you would be known in no time.

Have fun and there are generally good folks around
