Hi everyone ... I'm new to the forums - this being my 3rd post.

I've been a member of FFR for almost half a year now, though I've only been playing it seriously for about two months. I'm ranked 3200-ish, and I have a few AAA's (dang it takes patience for those).

Anyway, I didn't say all that to brag considering I do know that there are people with over 100 AAA's. "Wow" is all I can say to that.

Anyway, I'm 15 years old, turning 16 on Independence Day (July 4th for those who don't live in the U.S.).

I have pretty good grammar and spelling, so I don't think my posts will be much of a burden to read ... ha ha.

Anyway, just a big thanks to whoever deserves it for making this game. Also a thank you goes out to Tass and Shash for being nice to me in the MP Chat room even though they had never known me before. They've probably forgotten about it, but I haven't. =)

Hope I turn out to be a newb instead of a n00b ... ha ha.

I've read threads on the forums pretty regularly lately and I've noticed that you people are definitely grammar fanatics, so I figured I might fit in a little bit and perhaps even improve my own grammar.

I've been avoiding posting on the forum because I've seen numerous occasions of bashing, and I didn't really want to be a victim of more bashing.

I guess I have to start somewhere though. Thanks for the warm welcome. =)

Welcome to the forums Xception704. I'm glad to say that it is a pleasure to meet you. I have yet to get any AAA's although I'm trying and yes it does take a lot of time to get that good.

There are only a couple of people who are extreme on grammar, the rest of us just like good spelling, grammar comes second really.

Also, we only tend to bash those who deserve bashing.

Yes, I've noticed that. I guess I just wanted to enjoy the game and not have to worry about anything else. After reading on the forums and finding several tips to get better, such as screenshrinking, I've decided that it'd be nice to get to know the people that provide the tips.

And if you care a lot with spelling, then I'm safe for the most part.

I've actually had a pretty nerdy past (and no, nerdy does not have a negative connotation attached). I went to the NSB (National Spelling Bee) my 6th and 7th grade years ... ha ha. =)

Nice, I just like English and hate to see it get ruined, that's all.

Still, we can be friendly and all, and I'm sure you'll find plenty of interesting discussions, posts, whatnot.

That's true. I hate to see people revert back to IM speak (lol, brb, g2g) or leet talk (1337 h4xx0r etc. etc.). I even dislike it when people are too lazy to type a word out and have to just abbreviate it to one letter.

And I'm pretty friendly, so hopefully I'll be welcomed well by the community.
