Pad play?

Is there a way to get my pad (it is for PC just incase anyone thought otherwise) to work with FFR? When I first got it, I tried to play but it didn't register any of my steps. However, it works fine with Stepmania.

Help a clueless newb? o_o

I think it is possible, but when you get to the point where you're playing >180 BPM stream songs such as Pants or Strangeprogram (both in Secret), it's probably time to forget about trying to use a dance pad. Similar logic holds for songs with lots of fast jacks/trills such as Molto Vivace in Classical or RunnyMorning SGX Mix in Dance.
