    Stepcharts?

I believe I am a decent stepmania player. I consistently received triple stars on expert ITG and ITG2 stepcharts. These stepcharts were made for people to do with their feet, but were not a cakewalk to do on Stepmania either.
I believe I am a newcomer to FFR. I am having trouble adjusting from the arrow mod, C800, that I usually used on Stepmania to this 1x crap on FFR. But the main idea of this post is that I am finding very stupidly placed jumps (streams of jumps or a jump in the middle of a sixteenth stream at 160+ bpm) on FFR's stepcharts. What is the point of this? I haven't seen anything like that before FFR and i find it very awkward to do. There are also some very strange stream patterns that require you to twist your arms in a knot during a sixteenth stream. Why are such step patterns in these songs???
On a side note, why do some songs only contain blue arrows yet still have sixteenth notes, while others show them as red, blue and yellow?

    Re: Stepcharts?

    1) I acknowledge your accomplished playings.
    2) I believe the FFR engine actually runs at the comparable C300 modifier.
    3) In regard to stepfiles, I guess the author of the file would need to explain your complaints.
    4) Some of the files only have blue notes due to the fact FFR didn't always have note-skinned arrows. Later files have the feature and I believe the older files won't be switched over until the new version of the game hits.

play spread instead of index... you won't run into crossovers.

ps - learn the terminology, it'll help you to actually understand what you're trying to say.

Keyboard files have different standards than pad files. It is a completely different style of stepping.
