Problem With Submitting my Simfile

Hi, I am fairly new to FFR, but recently tried to submit my simfile to ffr. However, Winzip wouldn't let me compress a folder, so instead I just compressed all the files in the folder.
When it was submitted, There was a folder next to the files named (name of Song) with nothing in it.
What am I doing wrong? Should I use a different program other than WinZip?

You don't have to actually use a program to zip things. Your computer should have the zipping capabilities already. But anyways, right click on your desktop, then click New, then click Compressed (Zipped) Folder. Drag all the files into the zip folder, and you're done.
