    2 questions to ask

    As you can tell by the title, I have two questions to ask all of the people who have been here longer and know the answer.

    1. do different colored arrows mean anything (like part of a beat or something like that?)

    2. What is "3rd style". I keep on hearing about how 3rd style will have speed mods but it'd be helpful if i only knew what 3rd style is. When will 3rd style be out? And will 3rd style also have holds and/or freezes?

      1. yes.
      red = 4th notes
      blue = 8th notes
      purple = 12th notes
      yellow = 16th notes
      pink = 24th notes
      orange = 32nd notes
      cyan = 48th notes
      green = 64th notes

      2. 3rd style is the yet unreleased 3rd version of FFR R1. Originally there was FFR... then sometime in 2004, the game was completely re-done, layout changes, tons of other changes... and it became 2nd style, which is what it is now. 3rd style will again completely change the layout and many other features... its release date is still unknown, but it has been in the works for almost 2 years.

          1. They stand for the beat of the song, I can't remember what is what, but blue is 4ths (or red is 4ths), yellow is 8ths (or 16ths) or whatnot, they just are different beats.

          2. The new version of FFR that will be released when it is ready, it will replace and improve "THE GAME".

          EDIT: They said you're in love again, and might try to hide my pain. I was buried in the bed, with your pictures in my ninja'd head.

              I've just thought of a 3rd question to ask.

              Just yesterday i got some major laggage, I've never had a problem with this until now. I've always had my computer on the normal FFR (not the low res) and on the highest quality, and i'd have no lag. Even when i don't play on MP I still have lag! Whats going on and how can i prevent it!

                  Sometimes you get lag, it happens. Unless it is happening all the time then I wouldn't worry, pass it off as "one of those FFR days".
