    Changing Your Username

Is it possible? Because I'd like to change mine, but I don't know if you(FFR Staff) allow it. I'd pay credits if I have to. Maybe you could even make it an option in the game where you could play like, maybe 25,000 credits to change it, no?

As far as I know, djridder is the only to get their username changed, just ask LD, and he might change it for you.

        Re: Changing Your Username

Ridder got his name changed YEARS ago. Squeek and Rebirth both got their usernames changed.... but it will NOT happen for anyone who isn't a multi-year veteran of the site with tons of contribution.

There are 450+ tables in the database that each need to be manually updated in order to change a username. Which takes 3-5 hours to do.

So, basically, no. It isn't possible.

Plus a lot of the high score lists are messed by Ridder changing his username, so that he's on there once as cbclanbase, then twice as ridder, both with the same score, and I really don't like that.

But you'd have to start over at level 1, with no points, and no credits, but, if that doesn't bother you, go ahead. You can come back to your first account to play songs you haven't earned on the new one yet, or just transfer your credits to the new one.

If we are feeling nice, we can transfer your stats, but not your high scores/forum posts.

                    Re: Changing Your Username

My high scores matter to me, but not my forum posts. Would it be too hard to use the 'Find' option when browsing the high score table thingies to find my old username and transfer it to my new one?
