Why does my keyboard not work for this game anymore?

i remeber the good old days last year when my keybpard made the pads light up, now now i need to use the mouse? how am i supposed to ever do the double combo with the mouse? you're in human, and maybe a commie, if you think that it's possible.

Please help enlighten me as to the way of playing ffr right, i know there must be another way that i'm just not seeing yet.

b) unplug it...play with the settings
c)be sure tyo clikc in the background of the song then try and use it
