    hi im new

    iv been playing ffr for a couple hours straight . . . and i can beat some difficult labled songs . . but i have problems with my eyes being able to stay focused, after awhile everything is just.. a blur and i have no idea whats going on? j/w when you more expreinced players play ffr do you put your eyes on a fixed position of the screen so you can see the 4 < V ^ > or do you follow the steps as they rise?? i tryed to keep my eyes in the middle of the V and ^ but it gets harder for me

    another thing when you use 2 hands how do you do it?? i put my left hand on the normal arrow < and V then on my right hand i put on the number pad, the ^ and > so my fingers 1 2 3 4 are lined up like the screen <V^> is that good? it works for me for the most part

    You can index play (Use only your index fingers) but that'll bring you trouble when crossovers appear.
    Two handed play is usually < \/ Left hand and ^ > Right hand. This works on both the number pad as well as the arrows.
    Spread style is the most efficient, although I am not a fan. Use ^ \/ on the arrows with your left hand, and 4 6 (< >) keys on the number pad with your right hand. You will gain more speed, and won't be uncomfortable while doing crossovers. Trills are another story, though.

    Also, have a wide perspective of the scrolling area. Focus on what's coming in from below, while knowing what to click up above. That way you know what to expect in the upcoming seconds. Never solely focus on the arrows above: you will loose accuracy and response speed.

        Just find something you're comfortable with. I feel very comfortable when indexing.
        Once you find a certain style you like, just master it.

            I practice. ^^;

            Indexing is done on the arrow keys, by the way.. not on the number pad >>" We're not that crazy.

              keep your eyes on the arrows and at the same time at the bottom so you know whats coming.

                    lol He didn't have to ;p

                    The most common spread setup is left middle finger on left arrow key, left index on down arrow key, right index on numpad8, and right middle on numpad6. There is also a program, Autohotkey, which allows you to use keys other than those to do a spread setup. http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...ighlight=dance <-- Use this link to learn how to do that.

                    Have fun and read the stickies.
