    What is spread, exactly

I don't consider myself a noob, but this is definitely a noob question.

I use D-pad 2 hands, right hand index on up, right hand middle on right, left hand index on down, and left hand middle on left.

Everyone says spread is great, and I believe it, and I even think that I might be using it and not knowing it. But what I want to know is exactly what the definition is, and what people like Shashakiro use exactly.

    Thanks

Spread is using 2 fingers from both hands. It is different to 4-finger because you spread your hands out normally.

    A common spread-setup on FFR is left arrow-down arrow-num8-num6.

Shashakiro uses left down, num8, num6. Which is spread.

Well then what do you call what madpear is using? That's what I use because it's just simpler.
That's cool Mario, but how come whenever you eat mushrooms, everything gets bigger but your dick?

Cool, I'll probably try that method out, thanks.

If you don't like regular spread, which is left down num6 num8, you can always try key mapping. There is a thread about it in FFR general talk I believe.

Yeah, so I'm hitting a lot of up/right trills more easily now.
