Playing style for more challenging levels?

Okay so far I've been using my right hand, on the arrow keys in up mode. Now obviously, as I've found out it is impossible to do many of the strings doing this due to the speed, and your middle finger covering both the up and down arrow keys (fast up down up downs are physically impossible). Now I have started trying to learn how to play using my left hand on the right and down arrow keys, and the right hand on the up and right arrow keys on the numpad. Is this method any better for these fast strings?

left middle on the left key. left index on the down key. right index on the 8 key. right middle on the 6 key.
