    Creating stepfiles

How do you find out what the bpm is? is it just something you have to search for or is there a way to figure it out on your own?

    Thanks

(dont worry... i wont submit anything before i get good at it ;P )

EDIT: btw... the link in the sticky is broken...

You can use WinBPM (http://www.djdepot.com/winbpm.zip), in which you tap your space bar to the beat of the song and it'll calculate it for you.

Or if you dont feel like downloading anything just set a timer to 1 minute and count how many beats in the song until the timer's up.

That's the hard way to find bpm because it requires work.....Do it the lazy ass way like i always do...either get MixMeister or Stependous and it figures it for you. Stependous works better most of the time.
