I still don't get how that's funny. Maybe I missed the reference or something but. . . yea.

Re: Parent Email form...?
Yeah, there's this thing where if you sign up from the main page it assumes you're under 13 and need parental consent.
I don't know if it works correctly if you sign up in the forums, though.
It was brought up before and I believe one of the mods said something to the effect of "well you didn't indicate you were old enough when you signed up" even though there is no option.
I mean, it's really not a problem. I think all that needs parental consent is like changing your birthday or something. ANd even then, you can simply add an alternate email address of yours as your parents' email to allow you to verify your changes yourself.

Re: Parent Email form...?
Yeah, basically you haven't put in your age or date or birth, and when you signed up you clicked on "I am under the age of 13". Your own fault you are getting that I'm afraid.Comment

Re: Parent Email form...?
Hello, Im new as in total FFR n00b, so heres my 2 cents on this to old to play issue...
To old to play a game? Well I don't think so, matter of opinion I soppose. But then again if I didn't continue to "play" games or develop them etc. There would be alot less games in the world today.
Without game developers, whom are usually game players, you wouldnt have anything new on the shelf at your local Walmart next week to play
Think about the old geezer, who was probably 38 or so next time you buy that new must have expansion for World of Warcraft or City of Heroes.
Ive actually managed to struggle my way though 3, yes 3 FFR songs today. But I'm sure I'll get better even if I am "old" like Daikara.
So in retrospect, I could kick some serious game pixel butts in "my" home games, but I seriously suck so far at this game. But I know one thing for sure, we don't point and laugh when someone joins the community or tries to in this case. We welcome them.Comment

How many times do I have to say this? Ever since the site changed to all vb sessions, the main page's registering no longer asks if you're over 13. If you registered after that point, it will assume you are under 13. I have come across this on every account I've made that I changed the profile on. Tass must not have had a reason to change the forum profile at all on his accounts.

Re: Parent Email form...?
I just sent the parent form to my own e-mail adress. Haven't had to do that in a while so I don't know if that's changed or not. Kinda pointless (C'mon, I'm over 13....).I WILL EAT YOUR SPLEEN FOR BREAKFAST!!!
