I just got a faster computer, 933 mhz and 256 meg ram, compared to my old 500 mhz, 64 meg ram comp. But now when I play ffr, EVERYTHING sped up; the songs and the menu music play at a high pitch. Is this normal?

933mhz and 256mb ram is pretty darn powerful. It's understandable why ffr would play so fast.Originally posted by meikyokan67I just got a faster computer, 933 mhz and 256 meg ram, compared to my old 500 mhz, 64 meg ram comp. Re: ffr twice as fast!
Is there a way to slow it down? Now even songs like Delirium are nigh impossible ;_; I've played it on other fast computers yet it still ran at the same normal tempo.Comment

They're not impossible you'll get used to the speed. Give it time, my friend, give it time.Comment

Re: ffr twice as fast!
933 is slow as hell... Most new comps are 3 gigs+... don't know what to tell you. perhaps it is playing at normal speed now, and you were playing in slo-mo before?RIPComment

Re: ffr twice as fast!
I found out it's because of sound-card issues. The comp has a crappy, internal sound chip. EVERYTHING that plays sound plays at double speed. I'm trying to figure it out now.Comment

Re: ffr twice as fast!
My computer used to have that . . . I downloaded a better sound driver and it started working fine. I'm not sure which one I have, though . . . o-o;;Originally posted by meikyokan67I found out it's because of sound-card issues. The comp has a crappy, internal sound chip.
