On my desktop computer, which was definitely much worse than my laptop here, Stepmania ran just fine. No lag at all. Now that I have gotten rid of my desktop for my laptop, Stepmania takes extreme malice to an entire new level. I know for a fact that I'm hitting the notes onsync, but it's just not registering when I hit it. SM itself isn't lagging visually, but I know that my keypresses are not registering instantaneously. Songs I could AAAA I'm not even able to FC because of this problem. Is there anything I can do to fix my problem?

dont' play on a laptop. this is a common problem because laptop keyboards are often not up to par with their desktop counterparts.RIP -

I tried plugging in a USB keyboard I have, but the problem persists. >_>
This computer does not have a PS/2 port on it, so I can't use my old Logitech Elite. =x
And I no longer have my desktop.
