You can't download FFR, FFR is the online flash version.

You download StepMania to play simfiles. When you have StepMania, extract the song file from the zip/rar file and put it into StepMania's 'Songs' folder. It should then appear in the game. You then boot up StepMania and play it. Simple. By the way, StepMania is an incredibly small game, so even if you have dial-up, it shouldn't take an insanely long amount of time...

well stepmania is 9.3 mb + songs when i used to have dial up (gasp) it took me 30 minutes to dld stepmania
