I'm New! *plz help*

I'm Hijikatakun, but I prefer if you call me Hiji. I'm not japanese at all, but it's one of my fav nicknames and I hope it sticks. I have a few question which I hope some of you Guru's can answer.

First: When you challenge someone, do they have to be a buddy, or can you just ask someone (i.e. a "random" person) to do a challenge with you?

Also: To add a buddy, do they have to be an aquaintace already? I have had this experience on many sites, and I was just wonderin'.

im not sure about ur second question, but as for the first one, no, they dont have to be a buddy, anyone will do, as long as you dont challenge someone like 700,000 ranks above you.

We have 2 different systems... there is the challenge system which is within the game. You go into the challenges menu, type out the persons name, then the wager... then you go and play your song. they get the challenge later and play it, assuming they accept it.

there is also Multiplayer (MP), which you log into via the bar below the main playing window. within that, you play against others in real time and you don't wager any credits, but you do have a level that goes up or down based on your wins and losses.

in either case, you do not need to have anyone on your buddy list for it. in fact, the buddy list is faily useless, IMO. I have not used it, ever. Hope that answers everything.

You can challenge anyone you want. I once challenged a random person and ended loosing 10000. I thought he was gonna be a noob....

try not to challenge people that are really good also try checking there profile to see what kind of songs they can do. If they can do a hard song then u shouldnt challenge them.
