Age Problem?

I've been sending messages to the administrators concerning my age.
Everytime I try to change something in my profile it says I need my parents permission. However, I'm not 13 or younger. So I was just sorta curious on how long it takes for administrators to get a message? Or something of the kind.

It may honestly be faster to create a new username, especially if the one you have now is fairly new... aka, little time spent into earning credits, high postcount, etc etc.

Seems like the issue is that when you made your account, you clicked on the under 13 radio button instead of the 13 or over.

Although, is it a big deal? Does it cause any problems beyond saying you need permission, like a password that you don't have?

Haha.

I think this problem came about when we switched to vb for the whole site. New accounts are automatically set as under 13 it seems. Just set the parents email address to an alternate email adress of yours or something.

Or maybe the admins can actually do something about it to fix the problem, not only for you, but for the new joining people as well.

@tass: there is no option to choose if you're 13 or older.

I never had this problem on my account, or the 'aperon' joke account I made very recently.

I have no clue...lol can't remember.
I'm sure if they ask my age I will put my real age. Maybe by mistake I rolled the circle thing down on my mouse or something.

I'm pretty sure I cliked "above 13" but I don't remember anything that was on the sign up thing. lol I wish I could remember what I put wrong.
I could just make a new account... but I'm too lazy lol
Like previously mentioned, I could just give some alternative e-mail as my parents...but that's too much, having to go to an e-mail to get something approved and what not. Making a new account would be much easier.
Then again.... The option ontop of my "edit profile" says that if your over the age of 13 and that appears to send a message. So that's what I've been doing. Unfortunetly, nothing is being done. So what's the point of telling me to message an administration about it, when it's still going to keep showing up?
