Am I A Newb?

I was wondering what makes a newb a newb? Which also means i want to know if I am a "newb".

Is there a certain song you have to pass graduate from "newb school"?
Do you have to reach a certain overall FFR Rank or Average Level Rank?
Do you have to get a certain MP level or win so many games?

I have never tripple AAA'd a song but I can pass many songs ranked as challenging. I have a FFR Overall Rank of 15064 and a average level rank of 22511. My MP level is 6.

As far as actual skill... *shrugs* you're better than 75% or more of the users of the site, aproximately.

There are no actual requirements... but some would say that if you have to ask, you are.

Thanks I might ask agian in a month or two's time.

But what do you have to do to shrug off that newbie tag? I know there are no set rules but surely if someone were to pass song "X" that would make people think that your not a newb.

get good and impress people that are good because you dont lift the newb tag off yourself. everyone else does.

Well I always saw Quasar and HELLBEAT as impossible songs to even pass and now Quasar is like loleasystreamftwAA and HELLBEAT is easy pass. So I guess if you can pass HELLBEAT and get an A (B will do too I guess) on Quasar I would consider you non-newb.

Depends. To the game, probably not, but to the forums, yes.

Thats a really good way of putting it, altough it means its going to be alot harder to have the tag lifted off.

I can pass HELLBEAT witha bit of button mashing on the tricky bits and im ranked 27,149 on it which i could probably improve on. I havent played Quasar yet ill find the file and try it

i don't think rank is a factor (unless your really high up there. . .like top 1000 or something.)
i'm at 14911 in rank. . .but i still can't full combo secret zombie room (though i've hit 1 miss several times now).
rank just goes by your over all score i assume. . .so a newb in theory could play for 3 years. . never improve. . .but still have a high rank, just because he's played so many songs and racked in tons of points in the process.

i consider myself a newb still. . .i wont stop considering myself a newb untill i can full combo a bunch of the really tough songs. . .i'm not so worried about others thinking i'm a newb. . .it's all about when you think your no longer a newb that counts.

Newbs are people who are new to a site or game, or have little experience. Noobs are generally stupid people who can't type, argue with other people and are just generally annoying. Gamewise, if you play for a long time and don't improve, you could also be a newb.
