    Konnichiwa.

    Hey, FFR! I'm Lone.

    I've been playing Stepmania for about a month 1/2 now, and occasionally SMO. I guess I could described as a little above average on pad songs, and I'm currently trying to better myself at KB. *Edit* Forgot to mention, I play most things on c600 at 1.0 rate. Favorite songs at the moment are "Raver's Fantasy" (Subwire mix), "Resurrection" (Space mix), Lawn Wake IX, Imaginary Places, Quasar and Emerald Sword (even though I have no hope of passing these four songs at this point in time x3 ).

    I have a few newbish questions, though:

    First off, how does a KB effect playability for people? Is it just a comfort issue?

    Secondly, could anyone just kind of give me a rundown of certain key terms I should probably get to know?

    And finally, could anyone give me some tips for playing KB songs? I use my numerical keypad for KB songs and regular directional keys for pad. Is there a better way?

      I assume KB means keyboard

      As per your keyboard question 8642 will work when numlock is off and the arrow keys will work as usual. Once again stickies are your friends. One of the above has text.

      There's a sticky for finger/hand stuff as well floating around I believe.

              Unless this is Lone Wolf Hiro (then hey baby :3), It's probably not a good idea to flaunt japanese, since most of us don't understand a damn thing.

              blah blah rules kiss up to mods and admins don't flame us because we hate you until you're cool ect. all the usual intro bs.
