Okay then, tell us what you want to hear, so we can make you happy. When we say practice, we mean it. Most of us have been playing for years, not just a month or two for an hour a week.
If you want help on specific tecniques, that's a whole nother story, but if it is timing you need help with, that only comes with time. There is no magical way you'll get SDP's unless...
Hey, why didn't I think of this earlier. Change judge to 1 in the Machine Options. There you go, problem solved.
Speed is easier than timing for some people, me for instance.
I feel your pain on timing, the best thing is to play songs that traditionally are EASY to MA/PA. Songs like Joe files or easier DukAmok files. Use assist tick, but use it wisely. Using assist tick once and a while will help you to develop a metronome in your head and you will be able to "hear" when you need to click next, some people use it all the time, I prefer to use it when practicing MA only. Don't be afraid to! The hotkey for it is F7 while playing a song. Whoring out songs does help timing a bit too, it will help you to understand the patterns in that specific song, since many patterns are used over and over again this means that whoring one song can help with many songs. Only whore songs with patterns though, ****e like Eggman's OML which is just random bull**** won't help you nearly as much.
Well, this is what I've been doing to help my timing, I'm still not great but I've improved myself quite a lot, hopefully this is the kind of post you were looking for.
for ffr, use the shrinkscreen technique
it drastically improved my PA
just sort of vertically shrink the screen to about where the combo is recorded and play.
