how do i turn on boost/speed settings?

I can't get it to highlight once I click the "settings" button - am I blindly missing something, or do I have to obtain a specific score? how does this work? x_X

But seriously, those are options that were never implemented into the game by Synthlight. With the release of FFR 3rd Style, all of those options you see not highlighted will become available. Hope this helps.

Chromer pretty much got it. Also, one thing you can do which is sort of substituting for more speed is make only half of your FFR game visible. It does help, trust me on this one.
