I never made one of these, so I am bored and have decided to.
I first learned of the site in late 03, and browsed for a few months. I forgot about the site for a while and came back in April of 04, under the account Tps22. I played a few times, went into negative credits, forgot about it again. I come back in November of 04 and re-register with this current account. I don't post much, I'd never been to a forum before. I was browsing crit thinking one day, and discovered a newly started forum game called "The Werewolf Game". I was interested and had Tass explain it out to me. I was extremely nervous my first game, I wanted to make a good impression. To make matters worse, I was made a wolf, along with Squeek and Cypher. These guys turned out to be awesome teamates who not only showed me the ropes of the game, but forum-wise as well. I owe a lot to them. I end up winning that game and getting MVP for some vigilante idea (hard to explain if you have never played).
After that I gained some respect, which made the easing into the community a bit easier. I began to play and post a bit more frequently. I pretty much read every CT thread, which eventually lead to the changing of my entire belief system, and the overall improvement in the way I wanted to act in life. It increased my vocabulary and overall intelligence in many ways. I continued to play TWG while searching for any sports buffs, so I would have some common ground to speak upon. Discovered a football thread made by tass, which lead to his eventual reliazation(after countless discussions) of my overall superior sports knowledge. Talked with some more people through AIM. This lead to the meeting of a lot of cool people. Discussing literature with Mal, ecnomics with Q, or just fooling around.
So yeah, longest introductory post I assume. Too bad aDogg isn't around anymore.
