are you talking about multiplayer? then yea, there are levels. u start off at MP level 1 and ur level goes up when you win and down when you lose. go figure.

There are some people in the 40s or something, but in general anyone over 20 is big trouble. I'm like 18-20 normally and i'll cause most people big trouble :P

i just joined this site and i think i'm on level 3 for multiplayer. I can do damage to people just one level higher than me because my friend showed me this game on his profile, and i played a little. I don't like the people who say they're newbs but they r really just trying to level up a second or third profile.

i dunno about that i'm lvl 7 and i've already got lvl 10's scared of me

this is very true. i was getting my ass kicked by lvl 3's in the first week or two that I joined. what i did was: I installed Stepmania(http://www.stepmania.com) and i went to http://www.bemanistyle.com to get simfiles and I put them on my stepmania and in like a week or two i was able to do songs on heavy and oni at C400 speed (get at least a "B" or higher) then i learned about speed mods and changed it to "C550" and i've been getting "A"s and "AA"s on heavy and oni songs
