Certain songs are flat. (All the arrows are blue and not showing the timing.)

For the songs with arrows as different colors, the arrows represent the timing of the steps. I'm sure there's a thread or two somewhere around here that can tell you exactically which timing.

I always wondered if the colors had meaning.

Assuming you have extremely basic music knowledge...

          Red: quarter notes
          Blue: 8th Notes
          Yellow: 16th notes

That's all you need to know for FFR.

when you see yellow arrows start singing the words 'here come the yellow arrows' to the tune of the song and youll start fearing them.

What telvanni said was really funny, and, ya, the colors are quarters, eighths, and sixteenths.

I thought they were there to confuse you or make it look purtier... but that is why i always fail.

It's kinda like stepmaina's noteskin colors, on note.

I remember when a quarter use to cost a nickel.

the colors are soo pretty they disorintate you (like my dodgy spelling) it's a good strategy to use get the ones with the spaz colors and find some nebwie and watch him fail. that's what people do to me and it works every time

                          ya...
There are a few exceptions though (mess you up even more)... like in Nova Pulsar there is a section of all red arrows.... i guess just to make it look cool.
(Im pretty sure those arent all eighth notes)....

PS: I pwn. But you can too!
