Okay I searched the forum for an answer to this question but I failed to find one. Whenever I miss an arrow it messes me up and then I cant get my concentration back. Has this happened to any of you and it doesnt help having my score and the words "boo" right where I have to hit the arrows.

don't miss any. I know that idea sounds farfetched, so let's try something more realistic. Ok, imagine yourself in one of those times when those arrows are bullying you and you can't hit any of them. Now you have a knife. KILL THEM! KILL THE ARROWS! DESTROY THEM!!!!!
Now you're going to visualize that everytime you miss one and it will spur you into "the mode" so that you don't miss any.
You will never be affected by missed arrows again.

Doesn't affect me but the advice given is good. Also try practicing the song more constantly improving your ability to "see" arrows. That way when you mess up it won't affect you at all and at the end you may not even notice that you missed (until post stats come up)Comment

Eventually you'll just be able to read the arrows of most songs you play, even on SM, and either not play the song from it being hard, or attempt to hit the arrow, still staying on beat if you miss it. The main thing is not to panic, and to try to hit the arrows to the beat :/ My friends suck at passing hard songs because they panic, and they're getting kinda good.Comment
