    Definitions of FFR Terms

    Okay, I must ask...

    Can we get a thread going wtih different definitions and/or abbreviations you people use when you talk about your games?

    Example: Jacks - Jackhammer (what the hell is that though? Anyone got a pic?)

    MA = ?

    PA = ?

    Cross-over = I've only seen a pic on it once before somewhere

    and whatever other tings there are.. can't remember any right now

      Jacks are the same arrow over and over in quick succession.

      MA literally means Marvelous Attack I believe, but really, it is the accuracy of your timing in terms of Marvelouses. Good MA is having lots more Marvelouses than Perfects, a high ratio of Marvelouses to Perfects. Bad MA is having close to or less Marvelouses than Perfects, a low ratio of Marvelouses to Perfects.

      PA is the same thing as MA, except with Perfects and Greats instead of Marvelouses and Perfects.

      Crossovers are patterns of 42626426, 4868486, etc. in which pad dancing would require you to cross your foot over to the other side of the pad. It is also a difficult pattern for index playing, but is not too hard to overcome.

        There's a thread on this somewhere, maybe it's stickied. Look for it.

                  Ya but I was hoping to maybe get a nice thread with them all there so people could just refer to one thread as opposed to page-surfing over and over

                      You could just get better and learn the terms along the way like everyone else. But that's just me and what do I know.
