K, how do I put an image in the little box on the left hand side in the main menu? I don't mean the background in the actual song, I mean the image on the menu...

ANd what pixel size would you recommend the image be?

Image size 256x80

In your .sm file there should be an entry like so:
#BANNER:"whatever the file name is".png;

but don't actually put the parenthesis in there.
