Okay, so I'm a bit late on this... but what the hey. (I did post one in the Newbie forum, but seeing as it only got one response, it appears to be useless in introducing myself to all you regulars... which was the whole point.)

I'm not a complete newb here, considering my join date and the fact that I'm already friends with a well-established regular, but something seemed wrong about suddenly posting as if I was always here. So, here I am to sort of bridge the gap. :3

Nice to meet you all, this is the start of a beautiful friendship, blahdiblah and other such friendly meeting phrases!

Oh yeah, and for the record... my first post did elicit a "best first post ever" from Sir Omega. 8) That's gotta be worth something, right? Right??

I don't normally greet newbs (unless of course the newbs ask a question in the same post. In that case, I answer their question then welcome them), however, a number of things have made me decide to do so now.

#1: ad0gg quit for some reason.

#2: You seem above the average newb.

Erego, welcome to FFR. Be sure to read the rules and don't be stupid.

PS an example of being stupid would be posting something in the wrong forum.

PPS a more specific example would be posting an intro thread in chit chat.

Whoa, thanks for the... sudden mini-flood to this thread?

Took me a minute to figure out the Ad0gg thing, but ah... makes sense now.

I did read the rules and all that, and knew what I was doing when posting that thread in Chit Chat (Squeek even agreed with it T^T )... but yeah, I guess there can be no exceptions. I stand corrected.

I know it's obvious that we know each other... I doubt he thought we were "pulling one over" on you about that. :/ If we really wanted to keep it a big secret for some reason, it wouldn't have been hard to avoid saying stuff like we did.
