    DDR Pads

Will the FFR game ever be capable of playing using the DDR Pads?

I know that there are PS2 and X-Box into USB ports, and using those, it becomes to play normal games with the original controllers.

Think it may be possible to set up FFR with those?

(BTW: I did perform a search, and if anything has been brought up before, I didn't find it)

About the double posting: Click the edit button on the original message to add stuff.

About the wrong forum: The newbie forum is for questions, I think where you posted it is a better place than a lot of people choose.

About the DDR pad: There have been posts about this before, I don't exactly remember where. Someday, in the future, they may add this feature, who knows. For now, you can use a DDR pad with the game Stepmania (available at stepmania.com). Check out the stepmania forum if you have any questions about it.

Well... to expand.... This was in CT. I moved it to newbie.

Also... If you REALLY wanted to, I'm sure you could reconfigure your keyboard so that it recognized the USB DDR Pad as the 4 directional arrows. But, from what I understand, this is kind of a pain in the ass.

PS - This is the newbie forum. People get their asses kicked if they flame n00bs here.
          RIP

lol, i've been flamed many times in no flaming zones, by admins no less. I'm appreciative this site upholds that.

Or you could just download Joy-To-Key and use that. Whatever floats your boat.

                About DDR pads for FFR....

Id like to see you try to play a song like Hellbeat one a dance pad with your feet.

                not possible.

Not possible? Ha! Oh, it's possible. There are a few people who can do it.

Even if FFR could be played with DDR pads, it wouldn't be a good idea to do so. Since FFR penalizes you for pressing on a key when you're not supposed to, you'd have to return your feet to the center right after you step on an arrow. In a sense, it's like having mines at every 32nd note.
