    Technicolour Arrows:What they really are...

    Okay. Some people have been asking what the technicolours arrows mean and such, so I have compiled of what they are and what they REALLY mean. Ok here we go:
    Red= 4th notes(quarter notes)
    Blue=8th notes(eighth notes)
    Purple=12th notes(eighth note triplets)
    Yellow=16th notes(sixteenth notes)
    Pink=24th notes(sixteenth note triplets)
    Orange=32nd notes(thirty-second notes)
    Green=48th notes(thirty-second note triplets)
    Cyan=64th notes(sixty-fourth notes)
    What a dotted note is, is it's the value of the note cut in half, added back to it. So thus making the note a tad bit longer.
    I wanted to make this post because, it has been irritating me to death because I'm 95% positive that there was no such thing as a 24th note(or at least called that in musicallity).
    I hope this has cleared up some confusion.
    EDIT*:They are tripleted notes I think, not dotted notes.
    EDIT**:I've added colour to make them look somewhat like the notes in game.

    i have played a vivaldi concerto with 24th notes in it. it's just twice-as-fast triplets. I'm not quite sure of the name of it though

                  A 24th note is a 16th in 6/8 time if I am not mistaken... Good job though Tonberry_Kid... Now, if only you could spell 'Colour'...

                    RE: Re: RE: Technicolour Arrows:What they really are...

                    Well it pretty much is the same note. When the time signature changes, the note type doesn't. Just the value of it. But, I'm talking about notes in common time or 4/4 time. So, yeah, lol.
                    I can't help spelling color, "colour" or honor, "honour". I'm wierd like that.

                        Actually, I had no intentions of going for a sticky. People were just annoying me because of some threads about them, so I thought I would make this thread.

                          there are triplets in regular sheet music, not just 6/8 time. it looks like an eight-note string with a "3" on the bar at the top.
                          like so

                              Everything over a 32nd note is in Stepmania. The Bubble Bobble song has "24th" notes in it.
