Is FFR only for your fingers?

Just as the subject sugests, I'm curious if FFR is compatible with ddr pads? Is there a way to set it up so you can use the pads instead? Thanks!

Yes it is possible to use a dance pad. But first you need to get Joy To Key. It is a program that converts joystick movements to keys. Just search Google for it.

Oh, and as to why I asked, I was just curious. I know that it is really meant for fingers though ^^

Actually, it's possible to play the original FFR (we refer to it as R1) with your mouse. Just click on the targets at the right time. Jumps are hella difficult with this approach, however, but I think it's still a fun challenge.

Edit: Tonberry, it may seem impossible, but it isn't. You just have to hit one of them really early, then hope you can get over to the other one in time, basically.

Wait how do you do jumps with a mouse O.o. Doesn't seem possible. When I play with a mouse I only use one finger to pick up what I can't hit.
