    ok how do you get the extra settings like boost and stuff? do you have to beat a certain number of songs or what

                  The key to forums is knowledge. You need to find out what you are expected to do and know before you start to engage other forum goers. Not hard really, just read all stickies and rules.

                              And the reason everyone hells at people for not reading the stickies is because it happens all the time and it gets really annoying.

                                      Ok the stickies are located on the top of each board. They are all labeled with the tag "Sticky".
