      RE: newbie here!

      Heya and welcome.
I love the game as well, very addicting, and have a great time in forums, some really nice people here.
Check the rules and sticky posts to avoid breaking the forum rules.
Also try to use full words and correct grammer and spelling when posting as you will tend to get more respect from forum members (just a little tip).
      Other than that, enjoy!

yeah. u don't wanna type lik dis or els ppl wil get m4d at u mmkay?
also, expect some extremely good people (at FFR or stepmania) around this website.

There is a program called stepmania also that is similar to FFR only more realistic with no stepping penalties (when there's no arrow you should press) and it's run offline.
www.stepmania.com if you want to download it... but it takes a sooper video card (unlike mine), well, maybe one less than 2-3 years should be fine.

when you go play ffr, below it is multiplayer.
click "go" and you'll come into a chat area. On the right side is a list of rooms people are playing. You can find one that has only one person (it should say 1/2), or you can create your own. after finding a player, you enter an area where you can chat with the online player and decide a song. once you've come to an agreement and click on a song, you're in. The rest you can figure out on your own i think..

I'm assuming you meant to put "old" in there.

lol, mines 5 years old! I still run SM too.

If you're tech savvy, anything above 32MB for a video card will run Stepmania well.

Well, try getting accustomed to using two hands, any style, but anything's better than one. A lot of good one-handers will make fun of you for this, just ignore that...

dont listen to any one...one handers can be just as good or better than two hands.it should be no excuse.(just to say yes i am a one handed player who is pretty skilled)dont change just cause someone says its better.. let us one handers unite. 8)
