Well. Sometimes it won't load for me. Keep trying to reload/refresh FFRCHAT and if it doesn't work then your computer is just too slow. Some people can't run it because they don't have the computer than can use the FFRCHAT. A lot of people have problems with FFRCHAT.

If you're talking about the realtime chat, then the room might just be full and you can't get in, or the problem might be that someone ~cough~ridder~cough~ will overbuffer the chat, and it will be down for a few minutes... lol
Then again, if you're talking about the chat in the actual FFR game itself, then it might be down for maintanence or repairs, or updates, etc etc...
But like Reveng said, just keep reloading it, or wait a minute or two and try to get back in... No worries
