Does anyone here know anything about lock picking? If so then post here. I Just got my first kit in the mail yesterday. It came with one tension wrench, one rake, and one diamond shape pick.

The n00b forum is not cesspool for retards, it is for n00bs to ask questions or introduce themselves. You = Failure. This goes in the chit chat forum.

Sorry, I missunderstood the purpose of the n00b forum. I posted it here because I didn't feel welcome in the other forums, I hade an apparantly false sense of security here in the n00b area. I suppose there is no way to move it.

Also your right I am a failure and should be banned from living.

You should find this site useful then: www.i-hacked.com

Go to cola machine hacking then at the bottom to back a page and it should bring up an interesting article on picks.

That and it's exciting. To me just the idea of being able to open a lock without using the key and also without damaging the lock is really really facinating.

After having my new pickset for only a few days I've opened several padlocks, two doors, two cash registers, and the lock on the quarter pool table at my 2nd job... sweet. There definitley is skill involved. Once you get a feel for it though it's awsome. I read some of the forums at the site I ordered my set from, they say that once you pick your first lock you'll be hooked. I think they're right, lockpicking in and of it's self it very enjoyable.
