    Forum etiquette question

Is it acceptable to have one thread on the Brag Board and post your achievements as you rack 'em up? (Yes, I realize this may mean bumping topics. That's why I decided to ask first.)

    RE: Forum etiquette question

    Yes, that is okay.
I watched clouds awobbly from the floor o' that kayak. Souls cross ages like clouds cross skies, an' tho' a cloud's shape nor hue nor size don't stay the same, it's still a cloud an' so is a soul. Who can say where the cloud's blowed from or who the soul'll be 'morrow? Only Sonmi the east an' the west an' the compass an' the atlas, yay, only the atlas o' clouds.

        RE: Forum etiquette question

Hey super-smashman- sorry to say it but i found your post here pretty rude. You can't automatically assume that all newbs are going to use bad grammer and spelling or mis-use the forums. So your comment is totally uncalled for. I know i got told off in my very first post about grammer, but since then i always preview my posts and if there is a word i am not sure about i will put it into microsoft word to check the spelling.
Please don't put all newbs into one catagory and just assume that we are going to miss-use forums and intentionally break all the rules. Some of us are actually decent people who want to be part of the community. Maybe give us some respect and benifit of the doubt and you would see that.
Also remember that you were yourself at one point a newb...

Um, yeah did you read my post? I was happy that i finally see a n00b asking the right questions for once. And where the hell did you get anything about grammar?! I didn't mention anything about it! And this clearly wasn't sarcasm as you can see by the last line.

Sorry super-smashman. Didn't mean to cause offence, it WAS sarcastic, as you aren't actually going to put it on your calander. The way you phrased your post made it seem as if you have the opinion that all other newbs have no idea how to use forums.
I'm not going to make a big deal, was just saying is all. We're not all stupid and just here to make a nucence of ourselves so please think before you type something.
Spelling and Grammer is part of forum etiquette so i thought you were also referring to that as many people do. However i take that back then.
Apologies again, no hard feelings, guess i just misunderstood your intentions.

One of my favourite quotes: "Assuming makes an ass out of you and me... but mostly you". Btw I did put this on my calandar. I'll take a picture if I can find my camera.

                    RE: Forum etiquette question

Hmm well i wasn't assuming, i was interperating so guess i is cleared of making an ass out of both of us. Good for you putting it on your calander, i take everything back and will never try and stand up for myself when i feel insulted ever again (yes that WAS sarcasm).
                    Sorry. Please forgive my rudeness.

You guys, another thing... If you looked at igotrythm's post date, you would see that he has been here for 6 months. Just a heads up.

And yes, you can keep a topic going if it still has a purpose. I have had a topic up and going for over a year now.
