I've been wondering about this for quite a while, and all I can think of is it's a pejorative term. Myself, I usually prefer the scroll speeds around 250-350 bpm, so does that make me one?

Speedwhore: Person who plays on C600 for 3 seconds, realizes its too slow, makes C650, plays on it for 3 seconds... and watches this pattern continue well into C1000 until the preferred speed is realized.
Personally, I got to 900 before it was too much. I still play at 850 comfortably (if I play at all).
Play TSS on 2x. It's fun.

C just means Constant and I prefer to play SM under C300 (Yeah... I know... I play FFR too much... lol), but what C### does, compared to just x2, x4, etc etc, is that the BMP is always at a constant 300BMP (In my case), and if the song has any BMP changes, then the arrows just get farther or closer apart, instead of scrolling faster or slower...
