    RE: dif colored arrows?

    I'm not quite sure, but I think it goes as follows:

    Blue arrows= 1/4th notes
    Red arrows= 1/8th notes
    Yellow arrows= 1/16th notes.

    Correct me if I'm wrong.

          Nice to know that they actually mean something. I always thought they were just there to make it look cool.

            I don't think Synth is gonna get around to make all the other songs like that. I really don't care though.

              really, they are not 1/8 and 1/4 because the gap changes their color

                Ummm... yes they are. Next time you play Boss Machine or something with the different colored arrows, count in your head... 1234, 1234, 1234, 1234. Or Indiana, Indiana, Indiana, Indiana. (Makes the 1234 rythm)

                  some of the songs have each 1/16th note as the beat, so that all of the arrows stay the same color

                          Sorry to break it to you guys... but the color has nothing to do with the length of the note, it has to do with where the note falls in the measure.....

                          Say in a 4/4 song (4 beats per measure) the blue are on the beats.... red are on the half-beats.... the offbeat or in between the main beats, and yellow is the beat in between the offbeat and main beat.

                          So if it went 16 notes in a measure of 4 beats, the order of the color of arrows would go....
                          Blue, Yellow, Red, Yellow, Blue, Yellow, Red, Yellow, etc
                          8 notes in a measure of 4 beats would be....
                          Blue, Red, Blue, Red, etc

                          Music major here.... =P

                            Blue = Quarter Note
                            Red = Eighth Note
                            Yellow = Sixteenth Note.

                            Speed of note changes with BPM.

                              Actually rauchster is wrong, alain. Blue are eighth notes, red are quarter, and yellow are sixteenth. In other words, a song with an arrow on every beat would have all red arrows, not blue.
