howdy... i just started this as a way to maybe get better at DDR lol... cause i just plain stink at that. This has been helping me to see the arrows and such... but what i don't get is what are the different characters for? aaaand how does the credit system work? (as in how does it tell how many you get) and one last question is: Any tips to get better?

Ummm if theres somewhere that answers all these questions just point me to it.. that would be great... or if not then if you wouldn't mind taking a little time to answer them for me i would be grateful.

the different characters don't mean anything. they serve no purpose.

credit system: you get 1 credit for every 50,000 points earned on a song up to 1.2 million (24 credits). the cap is 25 credits, which you get for 1.5 million + on a song.

how to get better: play with 4 fingers (1 finger on each arrow key.. index and middle of each hand) and PRACTICE.

Yeah just practice. Personally I find playing with four fingers hard so i use three. Find which one you like and just use that...

Did you mean 3 fingers? If so, I find a very effective way is to use left middle <-, left index down, right middle ->, and right index up. It works the best in my opinion.
