    FFR w/ DDR pads?

Heya peoples. I gots a quick question....

Does anyone know if the joystick combatabliity on the donator DL'able FFR supports DDR pads?

I was gonna get a setup for a PS2 DDR pad w/ a USB adapter for PC.

I was just wondering if anyone knew if it would work with FFR.

    Thanks.

Yea, i'm pretty sure you can even use it on the online version, although I have never tried it myself..

You should try www.stepmania.com if you want to play a more "realistic" ddr with a pad. It is literally the same exact thing as DDR for your PS2 except it runs easily and quickly on your PC

I looked at that, and found I needed to go find and DL songs to put on it...

I'm just too lazy to actually do that. lol. XD

The songs are right here for downloading! Check out the FFR Simfiles section. Here's a link.

Ehh...I know, first time here, but I think something should be said.

Since the signals take longer to get to the legs than the hands, some of the songs you might be able to walk all over will get their revenge when you try to actually step to them. One example might be "Terror From Beyond." So yeah, if the neighbors downstairs don't mind you stomping incessantly trying to finally get through the FF7 battle theme and its long double-step combos, then go ahead.

The only thing is that with the current ffr you have to pick up your foot almost istantly because of the boos...

You should really wait for R2 to come out to even try using a pad to play ffr. Because in R2 it doesnt matter if you hold the key down...
